Know Your EpiPen®

EpiPen® and EpiPen® Jr are used for the emergency treatment of the
signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis.

Epipen facts

How it works

The medicine in your EpiPen® is called adrenaline. Adrenaline acts quickly to control your symptoms, helping to keep you out of danger. It narrows your blood vessels so that your blood pressure can start to return to normal and relaxes your lungs and throat so you can breathe more easily.

When to use EpiPen®

If you think you have come into contact with your trigger, you must make sure you have your EpiPen® to hand and use it immediately when symptoms of anaphylaxis are recognised.
